lyrics
by andrew james and ben murrie |
Born and raised in the Midwest, Ben began producing in high
school when he founded a city summer theater project. After
coming to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University, he
began work as the title role in the original play, So Mr.
Brecht, What did you think of America?.
He
later toured with the play at The Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
As an actor he has enjoyed lead roles in All My Sons ,
Lend Me a Tenor , Once Upon a Mattress , The Secret Garden
, and Measure for Measure, among others.
At
the age of 20, he and Andrew founded 5th Talent Productions.
The company burst onto the L.A. scene with a critically acclaimed
production of The Diviners , which starred James and Murrie,
at the Santa Monica Playhouse. It was followed shortly thereafter
by the original show, Alex Cole: Comedy in the Key of 'C'.
Recently, 5th Talent saw their Human Behavior
finish a successful run in North Hollywood. In his dwindling
spare time, Ben manages and plays baseball in an LA-based
adult league.
Ben
likes beef jerky, cigars, and really believes that his wife
is the prettiest woman he knows. He is a proud member of the
Sigma Chi fraternity and thanks you for supporting the show.
